LetterSeed is a collection of research findings published by the Korean Society of Typography. The third volume in the series continues its exploration of typography’s cultural, structural, and expressive dimensions through insightful studies and discussions.

Highlights of this volume include:

  • Strange Books: A Structural Analysis: This paper reinterprets the structural aspects of Lee Sang’s poetry from a typographic and visual perspective, uncovering the unique interplay between his literary and visual expressions.
  • Emotional Differences in Kinetic Typography by Major: This study delves into how kinetic typography—combining linguistic, visual, and rhythmic elements in the context of new media—affects emotions differently depending on the viewer’s academic background.

By addressing both historical and modern typographic practices, this book serves as a valuable resource for scholars, designers, and enthusiasts interested in the evolving landscape of typography.
