Exploring Letters in the Digital Age

The Korean Society of Typography was founded in 2008 to study letters and typography. LetterSeed is a typography journal published by the Korean Society of Typography since 2009.

LetterSeed 19 examines the landscape of typeface design in the digital era from various angles - from a type designer’s contemplation of developing new fonts suitable for digital environments, to discourse on cultivating universal aesthetic appreciation of Korean visual culture, and even the development of new font creation programs. Above all, through intimate stories from type designers and witty interviews with various designers, readers will be able to encounter designers’ lives, everyday concerns, and thoughts.
