Ko Hyun-seon

Graphic designer at Toss. Plans and creates all visual aspects of Toss. She focuses on the visual consistency of Toss graphics by establishing and spreading a visual identity based on the emoji font “Toss Face”.

Lee Eun-ho

Lee Eun-ho is a graphic designer at Toss. He plans and creates all visual areas of TOSS. He focuses on the visual consistency of TOSS graphics by establishing and spreading the visual identity based on the emoji font ‘TOSSPACE’.

Shim Jun

Shim Jun is the International Product Manager for Adobe Creative Cloud products. Driven to create intuitive and productive products for global users, she has delivered market-leading products for over 20 years, with a focus on the Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) markets, with a particular emphasis on Korea.

Nicole Miñoza

Director of Product Management, Fonts & Type at Adobe. She has been working for creative product users in a variety of roles at Adobe for nearly 20 years.

Nat McCully

Nat McCully worked at Claris Corporation and Apple Computer in Japanese product development, specializing in text layout, from 1991 to 1998. He then joined Adobe Systems as the lead engineer for the Japanese version of InDesign, implementing text composition and Japanese publishing workflow features. He has worked on Flash, AIR, RMSDK, and advised the teams on Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Text Engine (ATE). He now works with the Spark and the XD teams on worldwide extensibility and text-layout enhancements for Japan. McCully also participates in the W3C CSS Working Group and is contributing to the JLReq v2 as a Task Force member.

Sosun Park

With a background in media, theater, and programming development, she uses technology as both material and inspiration for her creative work. As a developer and artist, she creates content that merges technology and art, sharing her work across various social media platforms. Furthermore, she maximizes the unique characteristics of technology and the web as mediums, designing interactive experiences that engage audiences and encourage their participation.

Go Yun-seo

She explores how text, graphics, and people interact between the virtual and the real. After working as a designer and developer at graphic design studio Everyday Practice, She recently went independent to run his own creative design studio, YYY. Continues to experiment with digital interaction in the graphic web experimentation group HHHA.

Kim Hyun-ho

Editorial director of VOSTOK magazine and head of VOSTOK PRESS. He is the editor of various publications and the director of PLATFORM-P. He has worked as the chief editor of the design journal Yanggwibi, editor-in-chief of the Seoul National University Press and Culture Center, and a member of the planning committee of the School of Photographic Theory and the bimonthly magazine Wordnbow, and received the Art in Culture New Vision Art Criticism Award.

Lee Hwan

Collaborates with colleagues from diverse technocultural backgrounds to design product and service experiences within architectural spaces. With prior experience at Ahn Graphics and Atelier Brückner in Stuttgart, she is currently working at VAVE Studio in Frankfurt. She graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Hongik University and completed a graduate degree in Interior Architecture at the same institution.

Lee Hyun-song

A designer in the Brand Strategy Team at Hyundai Department Store, actively involved in infusing vitality into the brand through various activities such as brand positioning and campaigns across multiple media platforms. She is particularly interested in effectively communicating the brand’s direction to customers through design, exemplified by projects like the opening of The Hyundai Seoul.

Ku Mo-a

After graduating from Konkuk University, she worked at Sandol Communication, a Korean type foundry, for five years, and as a researcher and team leader at AG Typography Research Center, she worked on several typeface projects, including “Sandoll LateSpring,” the Maru project “Maru Buri,” and the 87MM brand’s exclusive font “87MM ILSANG.” She has been conducting research and projects on screens and fonts since “AG Choijeongho Screen” and has been working on typeface design based on calligraphy.

Kim Tae-hwa

After majoring in video animation, he worked as a designer at SBS Digital News Lab’s Operational Content Team, overseeing the design of various brands and contents such as ‘SUBUSU NEWS’ and ‘MMTG’. Since 2021, he has also been designing eco-friendly commerce brand 175Planet.

Kim Dae-kwon

He started his career as a font engineer with the first project, “Malgun Gothic”, the first Korean hinting font for UI. He developed various plugins for font editors and gave many technical lectures. He enjoys various collaborations and conversations with font designers. He is currently in charge of mobile font download service at Font Bank and operates Line Gap.

Kil Hyung-jin

He is passionate about design and making complex concepts more accessible. He is currently working on design systems at Wanted Lab to improve the speed and quality of digital product creation.

Kang E-Roon

He runs the design studio Math Practice in New York City and recently co-founded 908A, which researches and develops design tools for culture and the arts. He studied graphic design at Yale University and was a Special Research Fellow at MIT’s Sensible Cities Lab in the Department of Urban Planning. He has taught at the Bauhaus Weimar University in Germany, New York University ITP, and is currently an Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design.

Chae Hee-joon

Specialized in Korean typography at Kaywon University of Art and Design. Focused on font production, he is an active member of the design studio FORMULA. He has released typefaces such as Cheongwol, Cheongjo, Choseol, Goyo, Shinsegae, Tal, Classic, Giha, and Omin. Passionate about creating typefaces, he enjoys the process of detecting and studying subtle differences in letterforms.

Kim Hyun-kyung

After graduating from Sogang University’s English Department, she worked at a publishing house and edited various books. She is currently working as a freelance translator for major museums and companies in Korea. Her translations include The Form of the Book Book, BIG-GAME : Everyday Objects, First Principles of Typography, 100 Classic Graphic Design Journals, I Used To Be A Design Student: 50 Graphic Designers Then And Now, Bibliographic: 100 Classic Graphic Design Books, American Writers at Home and more.
