1982년 서울 출생. 1990년대 초반부터 불법이라는 점에 이끌려 일본 문화에 빠진 뒤, 대학과 대학원에서 일본 문학을 공부했다. 이후 출판사 편집자로 일하며, 다양한 분야의 책을 편집하거나 옮겼다. 티셔츠 사이즈는 일본에서는 L, 한국에서는 M, 미국에서는 S. 버릴 수 없는 티셔츠는 2003년 WWE 한국 투어 때 산 헐크 호건의 티셔츠다. 생각보다 티셔츠 천이 너무 두꺼워서 여태 간직하고만 있다. 언젠가는 헐크 호건처럼 티셔츠를 찢는 것을 목표로 열심히 운동한다.
