Becoming an explorer in the digital age

Exploring the history of typography

The Korean Typography Society was founded in 2008 to study letters and typography. Letterseed is a typography journal published by the Korean Typographical Society since 2009, and the theme of this 26th issue, which began with the 8th Korean Typographical Society, is “Typography So Far.” Starting from the question of “how to live” in the digital age, which is rapidly and complexly transitioning, this issue focuses on the context in which technology and typography have been changing and developing in tandem through chronology, responses, and interviews. This book explores the beginnings of digital to the present day to gauge the future of typography and to serve as a guide for the free-spirited “explorer” in a world where everything is accelerating.
