문찬

He studied industrial design at the Department of Industrial Arts at Seoul National University and continued his industrial design studies in the graduate program there. He then earned an MFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and worked at Daewoo Electronics. Beginning in 2005, he taught product design at the College of Arts at Hansung University. Currently, he is researching creative design concepts with engineering students in the Department of Smart Management Engineering at the IT Engineering College of Hansung University.

최명환

대학에서 시각디자인을 공부하고 편집 디자이너로 커리어를 시작했다. 디자이너로서 인문학적 소양을 쌓고자 홍익대학교 대학원 미학과에 진학했다가, 디자인을 해석하고 표현하는 일에 소질이 있다는 사실을 깨달았다. 이후 다양한 매거진에 객원으로 참여하며 2013년 월간 『디자인』 기자로 정식 합류했고, 지금까지 디자인 전방위에 관련된 글을 쓰고 있다. 2021년부터 월간 『디자인』 편집장으로 활동 중이다.

She majored in Japanese at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. She has worked as an editor for many years, organizing books in various fields including science, humanities, and history. She is currently working as a professional translator. He has translated Miyuki Miyabe’s Reason , Seicho Matsumoto’s Masterpiece Short Story Collection , Alaska, A Story Like the Wind , Tadao Ando’s I, Architect , and more than 80 other books.

건축가이자 도시계획가. 지난 30여 년간 주거 건축을 전문으로 하는 건축사무소를 이끌어왔다. 파리 전역에서 수많은 건축 프로젝트를 진행하고 세계 각지를 여행하며 쌓은 경험을 예술에 대한 깊은 호기심과 애정의 원동력으로 삼는다. 예술품 수집가로서의 안목을 바탕으로, 2024년 파리에 건축 전문 상상건축(IMAGINAIRES D’ARCHITECTURE)갤러리를 설립했다. 갤러리는 건축, 건설, 그리고 추상을 예술적 지향점으로 삼는 작가들을 조명하는 데 주력한다. 또한 드로잉, 사진, 조각 등 다양한 매체로 자신만의 예술적 세계를 구축해가는 건축가들에 대한 연구와 전시를 병행한다. 상상건축갤러리는 다른 갤러리와의 협력 및 프랑스 건축 문화의 정수를 보여줄 수 있는 상징적인 장소들을 활용해, 전시장이라는 물리적 공간을 넘어선 ‘외부 확장형’ 프로젝트 전개를 또 하나의 핵심 가치로 추구한다.
Seo Ji-su

She majored in ancient art history at university. After graduating from the Glbab Academy, she worked in various Japanese translation jobs and is currently working as a professional Japanese translator at Bareun Translation.
