Another history of Bauhaus that has remained silent for 100 years
The story of Bauhaus women
This book provides a new perspective on Bauhaus, which became a symbol in art history when it reached the 100th anniversary of its establishment last year. The book tells the story of women who were hidden and belittled in the dark. Through the seven female artists, it highlights the history of Bauhaus, the situation of the times, and how they kept art defiant against gender ideology while focusing on their achievements. This book was written, edited, and designed only by women. The up-and-coming designer Park Shin-woo of the Paperpress studio designed the book, revealing the alienated women of Bauhaus in a compelling way through her artwork.
