Kwanjo

觀照

Born in 1943, he attained enlightenment at Beomeosa Temple in Busan in 1960 and passed away in 2006. Since the 1970s, he has been widely capturing Korean temples and nature in his photographs. He has held numerous solo exhibitions, including the Seoul Asian Games Celebration Photo Exhibition and Olympic Celebration Exhibition, as well as overseas exhibitions in Los Angeles, Toronto, and Chicago. His collections of works include Sangha 1–2, Nirvana, Sumidan, Main Buddha Hall, Life, Death, and Reincarnation, Temple Flower Lattice, and Landscape of Nim. His co-authored works include Architectural Masterpieces, and Places to Visit, Places to Stay.

Akasegawa Genpei was a pseudonym of Japanese artist Akasegawa Katsuhiko (赤瀬川克彦), born March 27, 1937 in Yokohama. He used another pseudonym, Otsuji Katsuhiko (尾辻克彦), for literary works. Jo Kim

Graphic designer. He majored in communication design at Hongik University, earned a master’s degree from Yale University and a PhD from Hongik University. He is the co-author of the A Dictionary of Typography published by Angraphics in 2012, published “Technical Problems in Multilingual Typography” (2016), and designed typefaces such as “Bemby” in 2017 and “Glyphs Sans” in 2018. 백인산

서강대학교 사학과를 졸업하고, 동국대학교 대학원에서 미술사학으로 석사와 박사 학위를 받았다. 1991년부터 간송미술관에서 우리 역사와 문화에 대한 안목을 길러 왔고, 조선시대 회화를 중심으로 우리 문화와 미술에 대한 강연과 글쓰기를 활발하게 하고 있다. 현재 간송미술관 연구실장으로 있으면서 동국대학교, 이화여자대학교 등에서 한국과 동양의 미술에 관해 가르친다. 지은 책으로 『조선의 묵죽』『선비의 향기 그림으로 만나다』와 공저서 『추사와 그의 시대』『진경문화』 등이 있고, 「탄은 이정」「조선 중기 수묵문인화 연구」「조선 왕조 도석화」「삼청첩의 역사성 연구」 등 다수의 논문이 있다.
