2000년 이화여자대학교 정보디자인과를 졸업하고 2010년 홍익대학교 대학원 예술학과에서 석사학위, 2019년 홍익대학교 대학원 미술학과 미술비평 전공으로 박사학위를 취득했다. 박사학위 논문은 「이경성의 한국 미술비평 연구」이다. 2013년부터 2021년까지 홍익대학교, 용인대학교, 전주대학교에 시간강사로 출강하였고, 2020년 3월부터 2026년 2월까지 홍익대학교 초빙교수로 재직했다. 『이경성 앤솔로지』(미진사, 2021), 『SeMA Collection 200』(서울시립미술관, 2015), 『단색화 미학을 말하다』(마로니에북스, 2015), 『나혜석, 한국 문화사를 거닐다』(푸른사상, 2015), 『서양미술사전』(미진사, 2015), 『비평가, 이일 앤솔로지』(미진사, 2013) 등의 단행본에 공동 저자 혹은 공동 편저자로 참여했다.
