She studied literature at Ewha Womans University and Seoul National University and pursued visual design at the Graduate School of Hongik University. After graduation, she worked as the publishing team leader at the design studio AGI Society. Starting with her master’s thesis, Photography as Text and Society as Image: Handling of Photography in Twen」 (2006), she has focused her research on the intersections of photography, text, and design. Currently, she runs the photography book publishing house Aprilsnow (사월의눈), which continues her exploration of these themes. To date, she has curated five photography books and contributed numerous articles on graphic design to various publications. Her authored works include 10 Art Directors of the World (Ahn Graphics, 2009) and Bb: From Basel to Bauhaus (PaTI, 2014, co-author). She also co-translated Graphic Design: A User’s Manual (Semicolon, 2015).

미셸 파스투로

중세 문장학의 대가이며, 색채 분야에 관한 한 최초의 국제적 전문가다. 1947년 파리에서 태어났고 소르본 대학교와 국립 고문서 학교에서 공부했다. 1968년부터 색의 역사를 학술적 주제로 연구하기 시작하여, 중세의 색에 관한 첫 논문을 1977년에 발표하였다. 1982년에는 고등연구실천원(EPHE) 역사·문헌학 분과 연구 책임자로 선출되어 이후 28년 동안 색의 역사와 상징, 중세 동물에 대한 강의를 했다. 로잔 대학과 제네바 대학 등 유럽 명문 대학의 초빙 교수를 지내며 유럽 사회의 상징과 이미지에 대하여 다양한 세미나를 진행했다. 프랑스 학사원의 객원 회원이며, 프랑스 문장학 및 인장학 협회 회장이기도 하다. 저서 『파랑의 역사』 (2000)로 세계적인 명성을 얻었으며, 『검정의 역사』, 『초록의 역사』, 『빨강의 역사』, 『노랑의 역사』 등을 연이어 발표하면서 색의 역사를 다양한 역사적 사실과 풍부한 인문 사회학적 지식을 곁들여 소개하고 있다. 최근에는 『색의 인문학』 , …

서울대학교 응용미술과와 일본 다마미술대학 그래픽디자인과를 졸업했다. 한국패키지디자인학회, 패키지디자인협회 회원이다. 개인전 3회, 단체전 등 다수의 전시에 참여했다. 현재 한양대학교 디자인대학 커뮤니케이션디자인학과 교수로 일한다. 옮긴 책으로 『패키지 소프트: 마케팅수단으로서의 포장』 등이 있다.
미트라 레이하니 가딤

LCAT, ATR-BC. 창의미술치료 석사, 시각예술 석사, 미술치료 박사 학위를 받았으며 뉴욕주 면허를 소지한 공인 미술치료사, 연구자, 작가 및 교육자다. 현재 뉴욕주 정신보건국의 사가모어아동정신건강센터에서 미술치료사로 근무한다. 약 10년간 정규 뮤지엄 미술치료사로 일하며 퀸스박물관의 아트액세스 프로그램 및 자폐주도팀과 나소카운티미술관에서 헌신적으로 임했다. 또한 마운트시나이사우스나소 행동분과 입원 병동 같은 성인 임상 환경과 지역사회 노인 프로그램에서 일하고, 리빙뮤지엄의 상주 예술가로도 활동했다. 뮤지엄, 지역사회, 임상 치료 환경에서 정신 질환을 가진 사람들, 장애가 있는 어린이 및 성인들과 함께하며 다년간 경험을 쌓았다. 현재 뉴욕 호프스트라대학교와 LIU포스트에서 학생들을 가르친다.
