Sim So-mi

심소미

Sim So-mi is an independent curator based in Seoul and Paris, interested in exploring the relationship between urban space and artistic practice through exhibitions, public projects, and research, and reproducing it in curatorial discourse. She received the Young Artist Award from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in 2021, the Hyundai Blue Prize Design 2021, and the Lee Dong Seok Award for Exhibition Planning 2018. She is a member of the editorial board of the cultural research journal Culture/Science and is active in the collective ‘Retracing Bureau.’ Her books include Curating Pandemic and Drifting to the Periphery: Transforming Publicness in the Post-Pandemic City.

Lee sang-hoon

He graduated with honors from Hongik University, College of Fine Arts. He received his master’s degree in contextual design from Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and his doctorate in educational psychology from Korea University. He was selected as a Korean Next Generation Design Leader by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and is currently a professor at the Department of Design Convergence, College of Architecture, Hongik University.

최명환

대학에서 시각디자인을 공부하고 편집 디자이너로 커리어를 시작했다. 디자이너로서 인문학적 소양을 쌓고자 홍익대학교 대학원 미학과에 진학했다가, 디자인을 해석하고 표현하는 일에 소질이 있다는 사실을 깨달았다. 이후 다양한 매거진에 객원으로 참여하며 2013년 월간 『디자인』 기자로 정식 합류했고, 지금까지 디자인 전방위에 관련된 글을 쓰고 있다. 2021년부터 월간 『디자인』 편집장으로 활동 중이다.
