NAMELESS Architecture is a idea-based design practice, based in Seoul. Committed to the simplicity on the unpredictable world, they explore the world of architecture, city, and global cultural phenomenon. NAMELESS’s work has been widely published and exhibited at Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York Center for Architecture, Parsons The New School, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) and Seoul Museum of Art, National Museum of Korea. The office has received numerous awards, including AIA New York Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects , AIA/BSA Design Award from Boston Society of Architects, the Architectural League Prize for Young Architects, AIA New Practice New York (NPNY), Korean Architects Award, Korean Architects Award, Kim Swoo Geun Prize, Preview Award and Design Vanguard Award from Architectural Record.

김소영

김소영은 한양대학교 교수이자, 학제 간 연구 및 디자인 실천을 수행하는 아키텍처 랩+의 디렉터다. 비판적 사고, 개념적 엄밀성, 그리고 비전통적인 해결 방식을 통해 건축의 경계를 확장하며, 건축 유형과 도시 조건을 재정의하고 새로운 프로그램, 재료, 시공 방식을 모색하는 연구와 교육을 전개한다. 서울도시건축비엔날레, 베니스비엔날레, 국제건축가연맹(UIA) 총회 등에서 워크숍과 전시를 포함한 다양한 국제 협업을 이끌어왔다. 웰즐리칼리지에서 학사 학위를, 하버드대학교 건축대학원에서 건축학 석사를 취득한 뒤 건축사사무소 스키드모어, 오윙스앤드메릴(Skidmore, Owings & Merrill), 페이코브프리드앤드파트너스(Pei Cobb Freed & Partners), 겐슬러(Gensler) 등에서 실무를 수행하며 아시아, 유럽, 미주 지역에 걸친 수상 경력의 프로젝트에 참여했다.
Kim Ji-hun

He graduated from Hongik University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering and Hongik University’s International Design Academy (IDAS) and received his Ph.D. from KAIST’s Department of Industrial Design. He was a visiting researcher at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University in the U.S. Since 2013, he has been working as an examiner at the Korean Intellectual Property Office’s Trademark and Design Office.
