Cynthia Busic-Snyder

Cynthia Busic-Snyder was born in central Ohio, where she was raised with two brothers by depression-era working class parents. She studied Visual Communication Design in the Department of Industrial Design at the Ohio State University where she developed an interest in both practicing and teaching graphic design. After working as a graphic designer and art director (identity, point of purchase, signage systems and print for both retail and business to business clients internationally) she shifted her focus to higher education and instructional design. Following a teaching career of nearly 20 years in higher education, she now works as a textile artist, printmaker and chicken wrangler in rural upstate New York.

Kim Eung-hwa

She graduated from Seoul National University, Department of Applied Arts, and Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design, Japan. Rhee Pooroni

A graphic designer and illustrator based in Seoul. She majored in Painting at the Rhode Island School of Design and earned both her master’s and doctoral degrees in Visual Design from the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Seoul National University. Currently, she is a professor at the University of Seoul. In 2008, she was recognized as a Next-Generation Design Leader by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and was also selected as a Star Product Designer by the Korea Craft & Design Foundation.

Armin Hofmann

Armin Hofmann was a Swiss graphic designer. He was one of the most prominent individuals in Swiss design. He began his career in 1947 as a teacher at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel School of Art and Crafts at the age of twenty-six.
