What does the “unfinished blank” they say about the house mean?
The AeLe family decided to leave their apartment and to build a new house. This book begins when they met with NAMELESS Architecture. The “House with Nine Rooms” may seem somewhat strange, but the family explains it as an “unfinished house” that they intentionally made unfinished. In this space, the AeLe family’s creative life begins beyond the architect’s original plans and intentions. For this book, the house owner and the architect wrote about the life and architecture they experienced through this house for one year by looking through the lens of their own respective experiences. They then shared their writings. Their conversations ask us whether the looks of familiar houses are desirable, and let us examine the houses where our lives are brought to life, allowing us to realize what is most important when building a house.
