Byunggeol Min

민병걸

He is a graphic designer. After graduating from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Hongik University, he worked as a designer at Angraphics. He then went on to study “typography using mathematical algorithms” in the graduate program of Visual Communication Design at Musashino Art University.
Upon returning to Seoul, he served as a design director at Noon Design and took part in Jindallae’s collective activities, undertaking numerous projects that derive various forms from fixed modules—such as “10-key digital calligraphy”—and repurpose them as design tools. He is currently a professor in the Department of Visual Communication Design at Seoul Women’s University, where he continues to explore new three-dimensional lettering.

Kristel Van Ael is a business partner at Namahn, a humanity-centred design agency based in Brussels. Noh Min-ji

She is a typeface designer based in Seoul. She received her master’s degree from Hongik University Graduate School with a research on Korean punctuation. He has been working as a typeface designer at the AG Typography Institute since 2012, after having worked at the Yoon Design Institute. She has developed typefaces such as Boeunche, Maleungullimche, and Bomnunche.
Go Yun-seo

She explores how text, graphics, and people interact between the virtual and the real. After working as a designer and developer at graphic design studio Everyday Practice, She recently went independent to run his own creative design studio, YYY. Continues to experiment with digital interaction in the graphic web experimentation group HHHA.
Jo Kim

Graphic designer. He majored in communication design at Hongik University, earned a master’s degree from Yale University and a PhD from Hongik University. He is the co-author of the A Dictionary of Typography published by Angraphics in 2012, published “Technical Problems in Multilingual Typography” (2016), and designed typefaces such as “Bemby” in 2017 and “Glyphs Sans” in 2018. He passed away in 2021.
Nam Ho-jung

She graduated from Hongik University College of Fine Arts and Dong Graduate School of Visual Design and earned a PhD in visual design. Since then, She has worked at a design institute, planned and produced numerous corporate projects, served as the president of the Korea University Press Association, director of the Korea Industrial Artists Association, and director of the Gwangju Jeonnam Design Association. Choi Ji-won

A senior researcher at AG Typography Institute , the designer previously worked at Yoon Design and T-Lab before joining AG Typography Institute, where they led projects such as Jeju Air’s corporate typeface “Flight Sans” and “AG Choi Jeongho Sun Myeongjo.” As an independent type designer , they released “Damjae,” a typeface designed for vertical writing, and collaborated with designer Lee Yongje on the typefaces “Nouvelle” and “Jonjae.”
Song Geun-a

Lee Yong-shin

Lee Yong-shin studied Korean Language and Literature at Yonsei University, Industrial Design at Seoul National University, and Communication Design at Pratt Institute Graduate School. He has worked as a designer at magazines Glamour and Advertising Age , and now works as an art director at CMYK+WHITE, a design firm in New York City.
Gwangju Design Center

Gwangju Design Center was established to lead the advancement of the design industry to enhance the competitiveness of local industries and drive regional economic development. Fraser Muggeridge

Fraser Muggeridge attended the University of Reading in the 1990s and studied in the Department of Typography & Graphic Communication. He worked for Sara Chapman at The Letter g before establishing his own studio in 2001.
