Established in 2017, the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism explores the diverse challenges arising from rapid urban growth through the lens of architecture and urbanism. With a focus on Seoul and other global cities, the Biennale seeks to address pressing urban issues and propose innovative solutions. The Biennale features Thematic Exhibitions centered on a specific theme, Guest Cities Exhibition showcasing pioneering public projects from around the globe, and On-site Projects that bring the theme to life. Additionally, the Biennale directs participatory programs such as Global Studios and educational workshops, providing a collaborative space where experts, government agencies, and members of the community can all come together to envision the future of Seoul.

Lee Hwan

Collaborates with colleagues from diverse technocultural backgrounds to design product and service experiences within architectural spaces. With prior experience at Ahn Graphics and Atelier Brückner in Stuttgart, she is currently working at VAVE Studio in Frankfurt. She graduated from the Department of Visual Communication Design at Hongik University and completed a graduate degree in Interior Architecture at the same institution.
박정준

서울대학교 서양학과를 졸업한 뒤 ‘LHOOQ’란 이름의 화실을 열고 드물게 작업을 했다. 우연히 글을 쓰기 시작해 2012학년도 고등학교 미술교과서를 공저했다. 미술기법 이론서와 함께 새로운 작업을 궁리 중이다.
Han Jin-yeong

Graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at Chonnam National University and spent nearly a decade working in publishing, creating books. Later transitioned to a full-time career as a translator. Akasegawa Genpei was a pseudonym of Japanese artist Akasegawa Katsuhiko (赤瀬川克彦), born March 27, 1937 in Yokohama. He used another pseudonym, Otsuji Katsuhiko (尾辻克彦), for literary works.
