Yu Hye-young

She graduated from Sookmyung Women’s University in 1994 with a degree in Industrial Design and completed her MFA at Elisaba Design School in 2000. He has exhibited at Sol Ferino, Seoul Design Festival Milan (Milan, 2007), Seoul Design Olympics, Design is Air (Seoul, 2008), Spanish Kitchen at Samji Gallery, Insadong (Seoul, 2009), and Casas Marcs Illustration Group (Barcelona, 2010). Since 2003, he has been a design exhibition commissioner and curator, organizing various exhibitions, and teaching at the Spanish newspaper AVUI and the Elisaba School of Design. He also works in graphic design, web design, multimedia design, product design, and other fields, and is currently working on illustrations and paintings under the artist name ‘I am a strange yellow’.

Sara Kristoffersson

Sara Kristoffersson was born in Stockholm 1972 and is a Swedish writer and professor of design history and theory at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm. Chung Yeon-shim is professor of Art History and Theory (예술학과) at Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea. She received her Ph.D. in art history at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. She graduated from Seoul National University, Department of Applied Arts, and Tama Art University, Department of Graphic Design, Japan. She is a member of the Korean Society of Package Design and the Package Design Association. She has participated in three solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions. 그래픽 디자이너. 홍익대학교에서 석사 논문을 쓰며 다석을 만나 다석의 한글 씀이 한글을 이용한 타이포그래피 디자인의 바탕을 넓히는 일이라는 사실을 알게 되었다. 또한 우리가 오래 써왔던 우리말에 깊은 철학적 성찰이 담겨 있으며, 세종이 이를 기호화해 한글을 지었고, 다석은 한글의 기호적 의미를 다시 시각화했음을 깨달았다. 현재 스튜디오 ‘디자인하다’에서 한글을 사용해 멋짓는 디자인을 한다. 한양대, 가천대, 한세대에서 타이포그래피와 편집 디자인을 강의했으며, IF 디자인 어워드 등 디자인 어워드에서 수상했다. 한국타이포그라피학회 회원이다.
