After graduating from the Department of Visual Design at Hongik University’s College of Fine Arts, she received her Master’s degree(M.F.A.) in Fashion Design from the same university’s graduate school. She later completed her Master’s degree(M.F.A.) at the London College of Fashion in England, and her Ph.D. from Kookmin University. She is currently serving as the Dean of the Department of Fashion Design and Branding at Pyeongtaek University, and is active as an executive in several academic societies and associations, including as the President of the Korea Textile and Fashion Industry-Academic Association and the Vice President of the Seoul Art Association. She has also been invited as a judge for international fashion competitions in Singapore and Russia, and her work Media Art Moving Drawing won the Grand Prize at the 8th Seoul Modern Art Show and the Best Work Award at the Korea Society of Basic Design International Invitational Exhibition.
